Office of Management and Budget Clearance

On May 11, 2009, OMB approved a three-year extension of the O*NET Data Collection effort. In 2008, the O*NET project sought OMB approval for this extension. As part of the clearance process, public comments were sought on the data collection. A Federal Register Notice, published on May 16, 2008, announced the availability to the public of the O*NET "Information Collection Request" (ICR). The 60-day public comment period concluded on July 15, 2008. The final ICR was subsequently forwarded to OMB. A second Federal Register Notice, published on December 31, 2008, announced submission of the final ICR to OMB.
